Celebrate Life Community Church ("CLCC")

The History

In 2001, a group of Christians founded the Celebrate Life Community Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. The name Celebrate Life Community Church was inspired by the Holy Spirit and given to the Pastor after a series of illness. Much revelation came from the Scripture - John 10:10 which expresses abundant life in Christ Jesus. The Celebrate Life Community Church has been embraced by the Living Word International Outreach Center at Cool Springs, formerly the Living Word Community Church of Brentwood, Tennessee and Pastor Rodney Beard, Sr.

Under the able servant leadership of Pastor Mary Carpenter, the church has experienced tremendous spiritual growth in understanding God's mission for believers and the local church has made great strides in the growth of its membership. The birth of "CLCC" began with the Pastor and on Friday, April 20, 2001, ("Good Friday") twenty-seven believers placed membership during a regularly scheduled Bible Study. As the Lord continues to mold, shape and prosper this local church body in His perfect will, the Spirit of this body continues to spread throughout the city of Nashville, Tennessee.

The first Celebration service was held on Sunday, April 22, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Our first service was held at one of the members home and thirty-five people were in attendance. On Sunday, April 29, 2001 we move to the Maplewood High School where we held services regularly at 10:00 a.m. in the school's auditorium for six months. After much praying and fasting, the Lord blessed us to move from the school to our new facility located at 801 East Old Hickory Boulevard where we are holding our services.

During the life of Celebrate Life Community Church, we have been blessed with lives being saved, lives being changed, and witnessing healing and miracles in the lives of God's people.

At "CLCC" we believe that "Every Member Is A Minister" for the cause of Jesus Christ.
